Yes, and it’s a great idea! We will deliver the stork yard sign with a personalized bundle for the new parents to keep. Just be sure to use the receiving family’s name and address in the shipping section of your order.

To make sure our stork yard signs are displayed properly and safely, we need a nice patch of grass—an open lawn with easy soil access. We can’t set up signs in areas covered with rocks, pea gravel, concrete, mulch, flower beds, raised beds, garden pots, or heavy landscaping. Plus, we steer clear of public utility boxes, water mains, and other state-owned structures. Our team will stake the sign 10 inches into the ground to make sure it’s snug and secure. We do offer stands for indoor events if that’s what you need! Got questions about the setup? Just give us a shout!

Nope. At delivery, we will use our best discretion if no instructions are given at purchase. At pick-up, we will leave the personalized bundle at the front door. We will not ring the doorbell or knock on the door because we don’t want to wake sleeping babies.

Please note that if you are not home during the delivery, or if the desired location is not clearly marked in the yard, we cannot guarantee exact stork placement. However, we will make every effort to fulfill your request to the best of our ability!

New London County ($10 Delivery Fee): Bozrah, Colchester, Franklin, Griswold, Lebanon, Ledyard, Lisbon, Lyme, North Stonington, Norwich, Preston, Sprague, Stonington, and Voluntown.

Middlesex County ($20 Delivery Fee): Chester, Clinton, Cromwell, Deep River, East Haddam, East Hampton, Essex, Haddam, Killingworth, Middlefield, Middletown, Old Saybrook, Portland, and Westbrook.

New Haven County ($20 Delivery Fee): Branford, Guilford, Madison, and Milford.

Hartford County ($30 Delivery Fee): Marlborough, Glastonbury, and Manchester.

The bundles are customized, and processing begins once an invoice is paid. However, we do offer cancellations and refunds in the case of a severe weather event.

Circumstances in which we will not provide a refund include, but are not limited to:

• If we are unable to gain access to a gated community due to a gate code not being provided or not working, or if the security guard refuses to grant us entry. We are unable to wait at a gate for more than 10 minutes while the guard attempts to contact the homeowner for access. It is important to make arrangements with the guard prior to the scheduled delivery.

• If the homeowner or recipient does not allow us to set up the sign, or requests that the sign be picked up before the end of the rental period.

• If a dog or other animal on the property threatens us or prevents us from setting up the sign.

• If the location does not have a “traditional” lawn, defined as a wide expanse of grass.
